I can understand the frustration/disappointment about that, but I know from experience that building GameMaker games for Linux can be nonsensical and infuriating.
I've tried on two separate occasions now, both using actual Linux installs rather than connecting the windows IDE to a Linux VM, and neither succeeded: the first one hit a roadblock because the documentation on which libraries you need to install (separately from the IDE) is incomplete in some documentation, completely absent from others, and actually accurate in one bit which I did not find initially. The generally very good GameMaker manual simply doesn't point you toward it, and I had no reason to believe I'd need to go searching elsewhere.
The second attempt - from like two days ago - also failed. Even after installing all that & being able to run the game in the IDE, building it would fail to include necessary libraries, all of which are deprecated to my understanding, making it impossible to run. I tried to get the required files manually, but I couldn't find the first one and gave up. (I suspect the 'connect to a VM' method would actually make it work, unlike a native Linux IDE, but I don't know yet. Either way, this is absurd)
So, ye, I definitely have sympathy for not getting a Linux build out >w> not that it makes it any less unfortunate.
the game is amazing, nonograms so far are hard but totally fair and solvable without having to guess a 50/50 which is amazing puzzle design,I'm on 100+ solved already and hoping to 100% it soon.
I have some QOL suggestions that hopefully could get implemented even as a opt-in or something, mainly greying out numbers you already filled in before completing the whole row, having to constantly stare and see which ones you have filled or not is hard on the eyes.
Another one is having a undo/redo button, sometimes you're deep on a solve and mess up accidentally and is hard to go back without having to restart the puzzle.
A nice to have also is the auto filling of 'x' when you solved a row/column already, not a big deal though.
It's a really smooth presentation but I got the same puzzle that was nearly a completely full 10x10 grid three times in a row that came out to different objects each time. Then I got a 10x15 which was more fun but the puzzle didn't line up very satisfyingly to the actual picture - like I can see how it's related but as someone who's played a lot of Picross recently, I'm really missing the satisfaction of "oh! that's the same shape i made!" Great music though.
Edit because I loaded one more to make sure I could right click to X (not sure why other commenter is not able to do that): got the same nearly full 10x10 grid a fourth time
Hello! Love it! have put a couple hours into it so far. I was doing a puzzle though and got a crash error! Also, "forest" in the shop was lower case, dunno if that was intentional, but all the other items in there are capitalized.
Haven't played very much so far, but seems super polished + promising! Also more ambitious than I expected. However, I find the purple 'crosshair' that tracks your cursor to be very distracting, it makes it kinda hard to play... I wish there were a way to disable it. If it's too much trouble to program out, fair enough, but yeah ^w^;
I played this game and i'm getting alot of nonograms that are incredibly easy, like 95% of the graph will be the max number of tiles. Is this intentional? - EDIT: nevermind, restarted the game and it fixed.
Also, many of these don't represent what the actual image becomes, is this also intentional?
There is currently a bug where the puzzle is completely filled in sometimes. As for the normal puzzle, I tried to make them resemble the image as much as possible, but some are better than others in that regard.
This looks awesome. Is there any way to play it on steamdeck?
Edit: Nevermind! Figured it out. You can add as a non-steam game in Steam. I used proton experimental and seems to be fine. Hold steam button and trackpad for the menu. Controls work in the puzzles :D

Try going to the title screen and back if restarting doesn’t work. Really sorry about this bug!
no linux version in the big 26

if the full 10x10 bug happens again, try restarting the puzzle until it looks normal. I hope to fix this bug today
Why can't I put a cross anywhere just by right clicking? Instead, I have to left-click, right-click, and right-click again.
i love this game but this game doesnt love me (sobbing)

YAY! IT'S FINALLY OUT!

Do you mean the tint on the row and column of your cursor? I can absolutely add a toggle for that in the settings
Yeah, that c:

I see thank you so much for the reply, the aesthetic of this game is absolutely tremendous. It plays so fluidly.
Played this for a moment and really like this, tossed in a donation. I will be looking out for full gamepad support <3
Thank you Mobes!
Divers fans rise up!!!!
Did 3 puzzles so far... the vibe is exquisite. Loving it!
